CAS Assessor- Hybrid

Seeking college graduates with 1+ years of Care Manager or equivalent experience working with developmentally/intellectually disabled adults. This is a hybrid position with both in person and telehealth assessments.

CAS Assessors work with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD/DD). Here’s a breakdown of the key information:

Compensation & Benefits:

• $28.00 – $30.00 per hour (40-hour work week)

Responsibilities:

• Schedule and coordinate assessment processes with individuals, families, and providers
• Conduct assessments using a person-centered approach at a location and time convenient for the individual
• Conduct interviews, verify information, and use multiple sources to finalize assessments
• Complete assessments using provided software
• Work from home when not conducting in field assessments

Requirements:

• 1+ year of post-degree experience working with adults with developmental disabilities (IDD/DD), including conditions like Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Autism
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or a related field
• Willingness to travel and accommodate varying schedules, including evenings and weekends
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Proficiency in software applications (spreadsheets, databases, email, )
• Valid NYS Driver’s License or NYS ID card
• Must reside in New York State
